Adriana Rubio was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is an investigative journalist. Rubio is a member of the “Latin American Journalist Federation”-Felap- and also of “The Union Press Workers of Buenos Aires”-Utpba-. As a freelance writer, her specialties are arts and music. She has interviewed a big number of artists during her journalism career of about 25 years and has reviewed hundreds of International rock concerts. As a book author, Adriana has written and published 5 books in the United States, and has also authored 3 screenplays for feature films. A trailer for one of those is listed on FilmBreak "Leland", a film loaded with powerful rock music and meaningful lyrics as it has attached St. Louis-based rock band “Divine Sorrow” to compose the movie soundtrack.

 

Adriana Rubio has been interviewed by many journalists, writers and publicists worldwide. In Loving Memory of Rock DJ Tawn Mastrey, Metal Knights singer Robbie “Razor” Robfogel and Vietnam Veteran Roy Van Horne amongst many others, Adriana Rubio also supports "Tawn Mastrey Foundation" to help stop the spread of HCV by providing education on this deadly disease. HCV is currently at 500 million worldwide, and is scheduled to take in 1 billion more by 2015 (.gov). It is estimated that around 4 million Americans have been infected with Hepatitis C, of whom 2.7 million have chronic infections. Each year, it is estimated that there are 36,000 new infections in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Of those new infections, only
25 to 30 percent will have symptoms. That means many people will become infected with Hepatitis C and not know it right away. Hepatitis C is the number one reason people require liver transplants.
